Oil on firm artist's board 27.7 x 41.6 cm Framed. Signed "A. Gerbig" in black brush (possibly water-soluble colour) lower right. - Verso upper right with work number "21301" by the artist in blue chalk and titled twice "Roggenschnitt": in India ink the statement of artist's address in Dresden as well as the addition "No. 103" in blue chalk. Inventory number from Emil Richter, Dresden "E.R. 85997 1914". - Slight frame-related rubbing to margins; Small retouches to the edges in places. Old traces of nails verso in margins.
