Oil on canvas 60.5 x 73.2 cm Framed. Unsigned. Signed and titled as well as with dimensions 'Kerschbaumer, Strassenecke IV. 73 : 60' in black on a label verso on central stretcher bar . - Minor surface soiling. Stretcher frame bars slightly pushing through to recto.

Anton Kerschbaumer was stationed in Flanders, primarily in Ostend, as a paramedic during World War I. He painted four versions of the depicted street scene, the first two of which are missing.
