The small vase restored, the slightly larger one with a reattached breakage to the rim. H 14.6 and 15 cm.

Literature

A pair of similar, slightly larger vases made from blood jasper are kept in the collection of Charlottenhof palace. They were given as a gift from Yekaterinburg in 1828 (in: Göres, Die russischen Steinwunder Friedrich Wilhelms IV in: Jahrbuch Preußische Schlösser und Gärten vol. 1, 1995 /96.)
