A Berlin KPM porcelain display plate with wildflowers

With pâte-sur-pâte and raised enamel decor. Monogrammed G.K. Blue sceptre mark, red imperial orb, cancellation, year letter N(?), impressed marks. The outer gilt border slightly worn. Diameter 29.8 cm.
1913 (?).

The pâte-sur-pâte technique, in which liquid porcelain mass is painted directly onto the vessel, was rediscovered at KPM in the 1890s.
