A Neoclassical ormolu-mounted ladies mahogany secretaire

With a lead weight pulley mechanism for the fall. An elegant ladies writing table with a white marble top over an angular corpus divided after the French manner into three drawers below a fall concealing four compartments, three drawers, and a secret compartment; surmounted by a pediment drawer. Restored, the feet replaced, the bronze mountings partially reattached, minimal losses to the veneer. H 133, W 66, D 39 cm.
