An 18k white gold Art Deco "Éventail" double-clip

Designed as two stylised triangular clips set with fan-shaped cut quartz with facetted undersides. The edges and ridged buckle motif pavé set with a total of 188 old- and transition-cut diamonds (in total ca. 5.45ct). Stamped Paris gold fineness (Tardy, 161), maker's mark of Groené & Darde, 1928 - 1955. One clip with minimal chips and broken tip to the quartz and lost reverse mount. The connecting element with brooch fittings replaced by Hemmerle of Munich, rivets lost. Each piece 4.2 x 4.2 cm. Weight 62.0 g. Total weight (incl. connecting element) 75.7 g.
