A Meissen porcelain bowl with Kakiemon decor

Thin-walled, gadrooned bowl on a footring. Decorated to the sides with two curved crysanthemum sprigs on a bamboo trellis with flowers and insects, and a dragon to the centre. Large blue crossed swords mark with curved guards, dreher's mark of Johann Martin Kittel Jun. A vertical hairline crack to the body, minor wear to the decor of the ground. H 7.6, diameter 19.2 cm.
