Pair of French Louis XV ormolu wall appliques

Two-branch wall lights, cast in several pieces. The nozzles screw-mounted, the drip pans attached. Finely moulded, curving foliate branches with acorn and floral motifs. The back panels each with three drilled holes, minor wear to the surface, a nailed repair to one branch. H ca. 60 cm.
Mid-18th C.
