Cast in the round and of monumental design. Depicting mythological figures in armour on a gadrooned plinth and an openwork base monogrammed "L". Minerva's shield bears the head of Medusa, that of Mars the Roi Soleil. H 78 and 77, W 28.5, D 20 cm.
