A hanging scroll by Kumagai Suikô (active in the Meiji period), depicting a pair of mandarin ducks swimming beneath flowering shrubs and a bizarre rock. Ink on silk. Inscription, dated cyclically hinoe-tora (1866), signed Suikô Shinkô and sealed Kuma Shinkô in and two other seals. Wooden box with a long inscription by his pupil Suishû.
