A delicate 14k white gold collier by Falko Marx

Three-dimensional motifs formed from fine wire, set with 12 diamonds in varying cuts and sizes. Delicate clasp set with brilliant-cut diamonds. One of a kind piece, including a framed design for a matching bracelet by the goldsmith. Stamped fineness 14 K. Unsigned. L 45 cm. Weight 19 g.

Jean Christophe Amman wrote about this artist in 1975: "Your works, Falco (generally referred to as jewellery) are made with intuition and cool obsession with the body, and more so for the mentality of the body, and your knowledge of it.... One doesn't wear your works without consequence! They are energetic locations occupying an area of tension between their own meaning and the meaning with which we imbue them" (cat.
