An 18k gold capsule ring by Falco Marx

Broad, domed band, the capsule bezel with a convex quartz cover. Filled with loose gold nuggets and brilliant-cut diamonds. Custom-made piece. Signs of wear to the ring band. Bezel 2.6 x 2.3 cm. Ring size 56. Weight 31.4 g.
Cologne, presumably 1990s.

The artist first started producing this type of hollow ring filled with liquid and loose pieces of gold, gems, and other items in 1969. In later versions he refrained from using liquid as it evaporated too quickly.
