An early thin-walled saucer painted with a genre scene in puce and iron red to the centre, with a silver lace border. Unmarked. Retouches to silver paint. D 12.5 cm.
Ca. 1720, the decor attributed to Abraham Seuter, Augsburg, 2nd quarter 18th C.
