Literature

This clock maker is mentioned in Maurice, addendum 1 (Die deutsche Räderuhr, vol. I, Munich 1976, p. 296), among the clockmakers in Augsburg who had acquired smithing rights. These may have been hereditary, which would explain how David Weber was able to acquire them, as his father M. Philipp Weber passed away in 1653.
