In 1966, Max Ernst created various collaged and partially dedicated illustration templates for the book 'Max Ernst. Life and Work' by John Russel, published in 1967 (cf. Spies/Metken 4114-4148). The person named in the dedication is most probably the poet and dramatist Georges Shéhadé (1905-1989), who sympathised with the surrealists.
