A very large Bizen mizuzashi. Edo period

A very large Bizen mizuzashi in shape of double gourd with two handles and engraved lines to the lower part of the body. Black lacquer lid. Wooden box, inscribed on the lid Ko Bizen mizuzashi shinnyô (Absolute Reality, a Buddhist term and the name of the mizuzashi) and an inscription on the reverse of the lid including a waka poem and a signature with kaô belonging to the tea master Okada Settai (1799-1868). Edo period.
