A Chosen-Karatsu vase. Early Edo period

A Chosen-Karatsu vase of tall shape with an indented neck with irregular hand-formed discs and a threefold indented mouth, the body covered with a shiny blackish glaze, the mouth and shoulder with a white glaze. Edo period. Woooden box with a paper label inscribed Karatsu.
Height 23.2 cm
