A Tibetan copper alloy figure of Buddha Ratnasambhava. 16th century

Ratnasambhava, one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, with hands in varada and dhyana mudra, wearing a cape and dhoti, adorned with jewellery, the hair drawn up into a high chignon with a row of curls escaping over the shoulders. Base sealed.
