A large powder blue-ground famille verte dish. Kangxi period (1662-1722)
Decorated with a qilin and a phoenix in a garden within a reserved and scalloped central panel. The rim with eight reserved panels showing alternating scenes of scholar's objects and flowers. On the reverse three flower sprays. Marked on the base with a lozenge in a double circle.
