A bronze figure of Milefo, also called Budai, seated pot-bellied and at ease on a lotus base, holding a string of prayer beads and his bag. Remnants of gilded and red lacquer. At the back an inscription, probably with a date, under a black lacquer coating. Late Ming dynasty.
