A Berlin KPM porcelain basket from the dessert service made for Crown Prince Frederick William

Octagonal basket decorated to the centre with a rosette in sepia suspending rose garlands surrounded by flying insects. With a green foliate border, the outer walls picked out in sea green and entwined with purple ribbons. Blue sceptre mark with enamel dash, incised 35 and II. H 9.2, W 20.5 cm.
