A satirical snuff box
Black lacquered tin painted in oils and polychrome lacquer. Of rectangular form, decorated with a politcal caricature showing Frederick William II, Emperor Francis II, and Tsar Alexander I as Napoleon's barbers. Inscribed "1812" and "Mailand, Culm, Kazbach, Leipzig, Russland". Slightly dented. 2.3 cm x 14.4 cm x 8.8 cm.
