Underglaze blue scepter mark and red imperial eagle mark, red painter's mark. Slight scratches to the gilt edging. D 24 cm.

The Duke of Wellington Berlin Dinner Service 1817 - 1819, Berlin 1989, no. 108 - 167, the similar dessert plates, all painted with panoramas connected to the Duke of Wellington such as the landscapes of the places where he fought are all bordered with brown shaded arabesques. This plate was made in connection with an English order.
