A Berlin KPM porcelain model of a partridge as a butter dish

Model no. 199, fired in two parts, the upper part forming the lid. Depicting a partridge crouching amid reeds with two chicks. Blue sceptre mark to the base, impressed " x II 5" to the unglazed underside. The chick on the back reattached, the beak chipped, both other birds' beaks restored, a rim chip. H 10.7, W ca. 15 cm.
