Literature

For the history of this service cf.: Nabradalik, Das Berliner Tafelservice für Friedrich Ehrenreich von Ramin (Keramos221/2013), p. 123 ff. In 1913 Georg Lenz already notes this service as being included in an order placed by the King on 21st December 1768. Dag Nabrdalik researched the history of the porcelain. It arrived by descent at Kartlow Palace near Demmin, where it wsa buried in boxes to protect it from being destroyed. It was later rediscovered by chance and many items were sold to buyers in the West by Schalck-Golodkowski. The Demmin municipal museum houses eight items from this service.
