A round Berlin KPM porcelain plate from the red service made for Frederick II

Model no. 337. Decorated to the centre with a large purple iris. With gilt relief decor, the edge entwined with a purple ribbon. Purple scale-pattern spandrels suspending finely painted swags. Blue sceptre mark, blue S., impressed K3, incised III. Rim chips, losses to the dark purple pigment. D 36.3 cm.
