A Belle Epoque 14k gold and sapphire brooch

Of openwork form, set with tiny rose- and old-cut diamonds. Centrally cluster set with a fine cornflower blue sapphire (ca. 1.65 ct) surrounded by 8 cushion shaped old-cut diamonds. In total ca. 2.70 ct (M/N, vs-si). Can be worn as a brooch or pendant. The safety clasp renewed. Diameter 2.8 cm. Weight 11.7 g.
