A Belle Epoque 14k gold and diamond bangle

Designed as a hinged oval band, the upper section densely set with rose-cut diamonds and a central oval cushion-cut sapphire (ca. 6.04 x 6.07 x 3.66 mm, ca. 1.24 ct, fine Royal blue colour) surrounded by six old-cut diamonds (2 x ca. 0.30 ct, in total ca. 1.30 ct). Stamped Vienna fineness and assay mark used from 1872 - 1922. One rose-cut diamond lost. Diameter 5.5 x 5 cm. Weight 26.8 g.
