A gold and opal sautoir

Of 18k and 20k gold. Flat boulder opal cabochon (26 x 20 mm) in a solid frame with a fossilised oak ring. Two hanging loops. On a hand forged woven gold tube, the removable clasp with geometric granulation decor. Pendant stamped: Fineness 750/900, maker's mark "MP". Chain stamped: Fineness 900, the clasp with applied maker's signet. Pendant: 6 x 3.8 cm, weight 31.5 g. Chain: 65.5 cm, weight 39.3 g.
