In "Marqueterie de Paille" straw and mother-of-pearl marquetry technique on softwood. Rectangular box with removable lid. Containing four small boxes with compartments filled with fish-shaped game pieces. Decorated with marquetry scenes of landscapes, musicians, courting couples, and Venus. The outer case slightly faded, the interior in good condition. 4 x 19.8 x 15.6 cm.
