A Parisian ormolu "réligieuse" pendulum clock

The numerals as a ring of 12 white enamel plaques, blued steel hands, replaced glass. Eight-day movement with verge escapement, thread suspension and half-hourly strike on a bell. A small table clock of exceptional quality. Enriched with four vase models and a figure of Amphitrite as the finial. Separate signature cartouche and engraved to the plate: "Griblin AParis". Partially re-gilt. H 40, W 17.4 cm.
Late 17th C., tentatively attributed to Nicolas Grib(e)lin, master since 1675.
