Woodcut on thin Japan paper 29.8 x 21.3 cm (32.5 x 25.9 cm) Framed under glass. Vertically cut artist's monogram in the printer's block lower right. Monogrammed and dated 'F.W.S. Okt 18.' in Sütterlin script in ink (slightly faded) below the depiction and with dedication 'Dankbar meiner Käthe' on the left. - Two short tears in lower margin; additional marginal tears professionally restored. Minor creasing and traces of narrow folds in the margin.

According to the kind information from Uli Bohnen, the work is undoubtedly dedicated to Käthe Jatho-Zimmermann, whether the woodcut, as a unique print, was intended as her portrait must, however, now remain a questionable conjecture.
