A large Osaka school ivory square manjû of Ebisu, by Doyu. Mid-19th century

Carved in sunken relief with Ebisu and a huge blow fish, whose extended belly Ebisu is about to beat like a drum. On the reverse, a pine tree trunk in engraving. Signed Doyu.
Diameter 4.8 cm
