A good Kyoto school ivory netsuke of a recumbent boar on a bed of leaves. Late 18th century

Head turned slightly to the left, the snout touching the ground, the hide with fine hair work, albeit worn, the bed consisting of two types of leaves, probably oak and chestnut, a single pair of pine needles and aster blossom, to the rear a small rock. Chipped.
Height 2.3 cm; length 5.3 cm
