In a black velvet case marked "Falko Marx". Incised signature "Köln Falko Marx 98" and fineness 750. The back of the studs painted with lacquer, the pin slightly bent. 3.7 x 5.6 cm. Weight 15.8 g.
Falko Marx, Cologne 1998.

In his search for new forms of expression, Falco Marx developed a fascinating formal language mixing old and new elements to create a fanciful and unmistakeable style. He casually combined worthless found objects, such as this rusty sardine can, with gold and precious stones to create unique and artistic works.
