A Meissen porcelain bowl with Kakiemon decor

Semi-spherical bowl with deep gadrooning and scalopped rim. The display side decorated with two elongated chrysanthemum sprigs on a bamboo trellis, the reverse with flowering boughs and insects. The centre of the well with a coiled dragon. Large blue crossed swords mark with cursive guards, dreher's mark of Johann Martin Kittel jun. A vertical crack to the outer wall, decor of the well slightly worn. H 7.6, D 19.2 cm.
