A large silver-mounted ivory tankard with Saint Florian

The foot rim and domed lid decorated with twisted flame motifs. The ivory corpus carved with a continuous scene of an ancient Greek cavalry battle. The finial formed as a figure of Saint Florian. H 29 cm.
Marked in the manner of Johann Mittnacht and with Augsburg assay mark (both not in Seling). Presumably Augsburg circa 1700, with later ammendments.
