Stereo daguerreotype hand-tinted. Visible mat opening 7.1 x 5 cm each (case size 10.1 x 12.1 x 1.5 cm). Mounted under a gilt brass mat, thereon embossed ‘STEREOSCOP VON T. SCHNEIDER UND SOEHNE’ below the images, in original leather case with built-in viewer. – The daguerreotype with slight oxidation along mat opening, the case with slight traces of usage.

This daguerreotype was included in the cited exhibition at Deutsches Historisches Museum, Berlin, 2008 (cat. 265).
