The winged Heruka standing over a lotus base embracing his consort in yab-yum pose, with various ritual implements in his six hands and surrounded by numerous deities related to the transmigratory visions in the intermediary stage between death and rebirth known as Bardo, as described in the Bardo Thodol (Tibetan book of dead). Gouache on cloth. Mounted under board. Some losses of pigments.
