A Sinotibetan gilt bronze figure of Avalokiteshvara. 18th century

The bodhisattva with eleven heads and eight arms standing on a single lotus base in front of a large aureole, holding the wish-fulfilling jewel in his principle hands in front of his chest, dressed in a pleated ankle-length dhoti and adorned with jewellery and festoons. Base damaged and restored, and resealed with a wooden plate.
