A Sinotibetan gilt bronze figure of a Gelugpa lama. 18th century

Seated on a blanket covering a double-cushion with engraved floral patterns, with his right hand in vitarka-mudra and his left resting on his lap holding a sutra, wearing a monastic robe with borders engraved with flowers, his face with well-defined features, and his head crowned with a pandita hat. Base plate loose and incised with a double-vajra.
