A rare ivory netsuke of a moth, by Shôsai. Early 20th century

Of triangular shape, the wings covering the subsidiary wings and body. The large eyes with pupils of black horn. Signed Shôsai.
Height 4.4 cm

Saitô Toshikazu Shôsai (?-1970) was born in Tokyo and was the father of Saitô Bishû.
