An exact copy of Freydanck's small veduta with an indistinct inscription in ink to the reverse "Aussicht aus dem Park des Prz. Carl zu Kl. Glinicke". Depicting the view as seen from the Neoclassical terrace over Potsdam with the Havel in the foreground. Impressed sceptre mark with K.P.M. H 28, W 33.6 cm. In a modern gilt stuccoed wood frame, H 40.9, W 46.6 cm.
After 1837, the decor attributed to Johann Christian Walter after the painting by Carl Daniel Freydanck, 1847.

The view from the so-called Stibadium in Glienicke, which was based on plans by Ludwig Perius, is mentioned in an architectural compendium from 1842: "The Stibadium was constructed on the site of an old and unsightly greenhouse in the gardens of Glinicke, at a well situated point beside the main entrance to the property with a fine view over the city of Potsdam and the palace at Babertsberg." (ibid. p. 146).
