Two Berlin KPM porcelain plates with Italian comedy scenes

Model no. 1054. Depicting figures from the Italian comedy and their peasant audience against a backdrop of ancient ruins in a rectangular beaded reserve. The border painted with a band of stiff leaves. Blue sceptre mark, red rhombus, impressed 16, incised III. D 24.5 cm.
Circa 1800, after a motif by Karel Dujardin.
