A Niedermayer porcelain sugar box in the Egyptian taste

Oval box with original lid. The gilt finial formed as a crocodile. Decorated with pseudo-hieroglyphs in cartouches, two round medallions, and stylised floral borders on brown ground. Blue bindenschild mark, year stamp 816. H 9, W 11.2 cm.
