A pair of Niedermayer porcelain vases with fleurs en terrasse

Funnel-shaped vases on four claw feet and separately fired square plinths. The lower section of the vases decorated with naturalistic wildflowers, the bases with etched scrolls and anthemia. Blue bindenschild mark, year stamp 824 and 828, red 9. for Andreas Peil, dreher's marks 40 and 85. Stencilled inventory number in yellow "Altenburg 1808. H 28.5, ca. D 20 cm.
