A Niedermayer porcelain déjeuner with views of imperial palaces in Vienna

Comprising an oval tray inscribed "Vue de la ville de vienne, de ses fauxbourgs et environs, prise du Château du Belvédère", a large jug with cover inscribed "Vue du château J:R: de Schloßhof, du côté du jardin, en Hongrie", a smaller jug without cover inscribed "Vue du château de Plaisance J:R: à Hetzendorf", a navette-form sugar bowl, and two cups with original saucers inscribed "Vue de Gloriétte au jardin J:R: de Schoenbrunn" and "Vue du château gothique dans le jardin J:R: à Laxenbourg".
The finely painted vedutas in rectangular etched gilt reserves on a foliate background. The necks of the jugs and base of the dish decorated with blue and white diapered borders. Blue bindenschild mark, year mark 816 and 817, the tray signed "Schufried 1816" for Jakob Schufried, gilder's no. II for Karl Herzer, dreher's mark. H of tray 3.3, W 42 cm.
Vienna, Niedermayer manufactory, 1816 - 17, the decor presumably based on a design by Karl Herzer.
