A Niedermayer porcelain cup with the Church of Maria Hietzing

Flared conical form with tall scroll handles and original saucer. Painted with a broad reserve labelled "Vue de la place de Marie Hietzing près de Schoenbrunn.". The back of the cup and the saucer with a repeating pattern of shield motifs. Blue bindenschild mark, gilt 137 for Gottfried Anreiter, year stamp 817, potter's no. 57.
Vienna, Niedermayer manufactory, fired 1817 and decorated soon after.
