A Berlin KPM porcelain cup with a horse

"Walzenform" with claw feet and original saucer. Decorated with a depiction of a horse on a rocky cliff. The well of the saucer monogrammed C.B. and A.G.B. and dated 1848. Blue eagle mark with KPM, impressed 26 (saucer). The saucer restored.
Fired 1844 - 47, decorated by a "hausmaler", 1848, presumably after a motif by John Frederick Herring sen.
