A Berlin KPM porcelain "Rhedensche Vase" with fleurs en terrasse

Model no. 1005, no. 1, fired in two parts and screw-mounted, on a square plinth (corresponding but associated). Decorated with a bed of coloured flowers, including roses, poppies, and morning glories as well as etched gilt grasses and burnished palmettes. The plinth painted to imitate black marble, the lower section with speckled lapis lazuli. Blue sceptre mark with iron red dash through it, incised marks to the socle. Metal cuff (possibly over a breakage) around the top of the shaft, two small chips to the corners of the base. H 30.3, H with socle 38.5 cm.
